I honestly never thought I’d be writing something like this, but after weeks of frustration, confusion, and endless loops with Hulu’s support, I just need to vent — and maybe this will help someone else who’s going through the same thing. 😞


🔹 It All Started with a Billing Problem​


I’ve been a Hulu subscriber for a long time, and out of nowhere, my payment started failing. The card was valid, funds were there, but Hulu just wouldn’t process it. Every time I tried again, I’d get that annoying “Payment declined” message.


When I finally reached out to Hulu’s billing support (through live chat and email), it felt like I was talking to bots. No one seemed to understand what was going on. I even got double charged once — yep, two payments for the same month! And when I asked about a refund for the duplicate charge, I was told to “wait 5–10 business days.”


🔹 Unauthorized Charges & Account Lock 😭

Rejected?! For what? It was their mistake, not mine. I can’t describe how upsetting that felt. I tried their live chat for refund problems, sent emails, even called the Hulu refund help desk — and every time I’d just get bounced around.


🔹 Trying to Cancel — Another Nightmare​


Then came the final straw. I decided to just cancel my Hulu Live TV subscription altogether. Sounds simple, right? Nope. The site kept giving me an error every time I clicked “Confirm Cancellation.” I couldn’t cancel through the app either.


I reached out to their customer support for subscription cancellation, and the rep told me to “try again after 24 hours.” When I finally managed to cancel, I was still charged for another month. I honestly almost cried. 😤


They said it was “an auto-renewal glitch,” but I didn’t even use the service that month. I had to go through the entire cancellation refund process again.


🔹 Activation & Login Chaos​


For anyone new trying to activate Hulu — I feel for you. When I got locked out, even my activation code didn’t work. I kept getting “Code expired” messages even after generating new ones.


The login support team did eventually help me get back in, but it took way too long. Between activation issues, login errors, and being told to “clear my cookies” a dozen times… I was honestly ready to give up.

Keep your screenshots, note down every charge, and stand your ground. You deserve your money and access to your account — nothing less.
